Low pressure or no pressure?

Are you experiencing low pressure or no pressure from the water system? I’m not talking about water breaks, (3 in Newport in the past 6 days) which have been taken care of very quickly; I would like to know if you are having low pressure problems. I have received several emails regarding this problem and I am interested to know if this is an isolated incident or not. Tell me what you are experiencing.

Chris,

I and my neighbors have water pressure problems. I've been noticing it more over the past year. Only one system can be running at a time with adquate pressure. For example, in my house, nobody can shower while the dishwasher or the washing machine runs. We didn't used to think about that kind of thing a few years ago. Low water pressure is a serious safety issue. What if someone on my block has a house fire, the League City Fire Department truck rolls into Brittany Bay, and the hose can't work properly? A burned down house, dead people, or both. Low water pressure is a direct threat to my family's safety. It needs to be fixed NOW.

You're not alone, Chuck, and it is not just the west side.

My main water line from the city to my house broke on the 9th. Not sure if it had anything to do with the pressure fluctuations, but it sure cost me over $2000 to fix.
