Thank you Dr. Dudney,

Dr. Dudney cares about our city, loves our city and looks out for our city. He is widely known throughout the bay area and has had a major role in the positive development of our area. As one of the members of our first city council he helped place League City on the map and grow into the city it is today. He will be greatly missed.

Our friend Dr. Ned, was an inspiration to us all!

Not only has he been such a tireless community and civic leader, he cared about League City-the entity and the folks who live and have lived here!

He was also a huge champion of UTMB and Galveston, as his alma mater, and had visions that have helped bring so many of the new UTMB facilities to League City.

Lastly, he set a very brave example in the manner that he coped with his cancer. He was cheerful to the very end, finding joy in talking with each and every one of us who called him to say hello.

If you wanted to see Dr. Ned glow, you just mentioned Longhorns (either UT or Butler) or sand hill cranes!

I can still see him in the OR as he delivered my last baby, when he bumped his head on one of the OR lights and joked about it!

So thank you, Dr. Ned, for what you have given League City for all these years-for your insight and dedication and just-plain love!
