If Mike Barber chooses not to run again for League City council, his successor will have huge shoes to fill. While I have not agreed with every vote Mr. Barber has made, I know that he represents both the "little guy" homeowner like me, and the highest degree of integrity in municipal governance. I have known Mr. Becker and Mr. O'Keeffe for a long time. However, they need to prove as candidates that they represent the interests of homeowners in this town. A few of us have been around the block enough times to know what that really means.
